| Dead Chuffed started life as an experiment
in mark-making which just seemsed to suggest a skull. The painting
in Warning Hazchem started life as a test bed for Dead Chuffed, but
similarity to the warning symbol for toxic substances inspired this
installation on the dangers of working in the chemical industry, a
subject very close to my heart as someone who has spent so much of
his working life making printing inks. |
