Use the navigation along the top to view the Graphic Design on this site.

Most of my design work is centred round the Birmingham Jazz scene, the most recent addition to my portfolio being JazzWestMids, the free listings magazine available across the region, for which I do the artwork and layout, design some new ads, update others, and contribute to the editorial content.

CD designs include covers for top local sax players, Andy Gayle and Luke Shingler, former International Beat frontman, Tony Beet, and an exciting new blues outfit going under the name of "Kirsty and Kenny". Design for music started out of my involvement with Bearwood Jazz (at Corks Club in Bearwood), the home of Andy Hamilton and the Blue Notes. I'm pretty much involved in everything that has to be done to keep the club running from manning the door, shifting equipment, booking acts etc to designing publicity material and maintaining the website. I haven't got much about Corks on this site yet but if you click on the ad (above roght) you can visit the website where you can also download their latest poster as a PDF.

Other work has included a Community Newsletter in Ladywood and teaching Web Design (HTML) at Matthew Boulton, The OnLineJones web tutorials started life as a learning resource for Matthew Boulton students.

This site has my latest work, but you will find more graphics on my old site at http://www.btinternet.com/~dick.j
